Prior to and since founding SES, Adam has been fortunate to work on an exciting array of exhibition projects and initiatives, these included establishing the Natural History Museum’s London (NHM) Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition international tour, managing the sales of state-of-the-art animatronics to attractions worldwide, providing visitor attraction design, development and operational consultancy services, collaborating with brands to develop exhibition concepts and touring blockbuster exhibitions.

of the Year Exhibition:

This exhibition is the result of an annual competition developed by the Natural History Museum London, and BBC Worldwide, and has subsequently been displayed in over 40 countries and seen by hundreds of thousands of visitors globally each year.
Harry Potter the
Exhibition, Paris, France
Based on one of the most iconic characters of all time, the exhibition contained costumes, props, and rare artefacts from the Harry Potter movies. Produced by Global Exhibition Services (GES) in collaboration with Warner Bros Consumer Products, and locally promoted in France by TF1 Media Group, SES sourced the venue, negotiated the operational contracts and managed the Paris section of the exhibition tour on behalf of Explorado Productions. In 2014, the exhibition in Paris recorded the highest number of visitors ever to see the show in one city.
Shaun the Sheep,
travelling exhibition concept
Working in collaboration with Aardman Animations and National Museums Liverpool, Explorado Productions developed initial ideas for a travelling exhibition based on the topic of health and wellbeing. SES were responsible securing the brand license agreement and project managing exhibition concept development processes.
Astronomy Photographer
of the Year Exhibition
Organised by the Royal Museums Greenwich, London (RMG), Astronomy Photographer of the Year is an annual competition and exhibition which showcases the world’s best space photography. RMG commissioned SES to produce a feasibility report for touring this annual exhibition worldwide. SES researched and reviewed tour operational resources, hire fee structures for various display formats, exhibition production costs, staffing requirements, marketing strategies, a profit and loss analysis and sponsorship considerations.
Doctor Who Worlds of
Wonder Exhibition

Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder: Where Science Meets Fiction is a touring exhibition that explores the science behind the global hit series Doctor Who. Created by Sarner International in close collaboration with the team at BBC Studios along with scientific advisors this exhibition has been designed especially for science centres, natural science museums, and attractions. SES were contracted by Sarner to assist with the development of exhibition marketing materials, tour agreements, operational and retail teams and management of tour bookings. The exhibition launched in 2022 and has toured and is touring to prestigious venues worldwide including Liverpool World Museum, National Museums Scotland, Edinburgh and will soon be on display at Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre as of June 2024.
Warren Elsmore
LEGO® brick exhibitions

Warren Elsmore is an established events company based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom that specialises in creating world class exhibitions and bespoke commissions out of LEGO® bricks. Warren’s models tour annually to museums, galleries and attractions, entertaining hundreds of thousands of children, school groups, families and adults worldwide. His teams’ commissioned work has been seen by millions more. SES manages the global sales of his turnkey shows in addition to advising on tour agreements and marketing materials.
Cabaret Mechanical
Theatre exhibitions

The Cabaret Mechanical Theatre (CMT) owns and tours educational and entertaining exhibitions that feature their incredible collection of art science automata. Containing hands on interactives, push button electrically operated automata, artefacts from the original Cabaret Mechanical Theatre store, video footage of the automata artists at work, and visitor workshop programmes, their shows have been seen by over 10 million people worldwide. SES were commissioned by CMT to assist in the redevelopment of their marketing materials, and tour agreements and manage their global sales.
BASE Xperiential

BASE Xperiential formerly Base Hologram® is a live entertainment company that develops, produces, and presents live entertainment experiences. Base Xperiential were interested in designing and developing a holographic dinosaur exhibition to tour science centres, museums, and attractions worldwide. SES were asked to assist in the creation of marketing materials for this show advising on tour structures, and associated hire fee models, and manage tour sales for Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia.

Dubai UAE
As part of a feasibility study to develop a dedicated cultural and educational touring exhibitions centre in Dubai, Meeras commissioned SES to research and recommend travelling shows, and map out a 2-year exhibitions programme for their proposed galleries along with a projected cash flow analysis.
British Life Photography
Awards Exhibition

The British Life Photography Awards were a unique visual celebration of British life in all its richness and diversity. Established in 2014, and receiving over 5000 entries each year, this annual competition recognised the skills of both amateur and professional photographers, while simultaneously reviving a greater awareness of documentary photography. SES managed the sales and marketing of the exhibition touring the show throughout the United Kingdom including the iconic Royal Albert Hall, London.
Gondwana Praehistorium,

Containing one of the world’s largest dinosaur theatres, this hugely popular attraction provides an immersive setting to tell the story of life on Earth and the evolution of our planet. The life sized dinosaur animatronics were created and supplied by Kokoro Dreams, a Japanese manufacturer of high quality robotics for the leisure industry.
Abu Dhabi Science Centre,
Abu Dhabi, UAE
As part of a master planning scoping study being developed for the Abu Dhabi Science and Technology Institute, the Exploratorium, San Francisco, USA, approached the NHM’s Planning and Design Consulting team to supply content research and development and storyline creation service, as well as exhibition visuals, for a proposed natural history gallery which would form part of a proposed new science centre development in Abu Dhabi.
Restless Planet,
Dubai, UAE
The Restless Planet was a multi-million-dollar concept for a hybrid dinosaur theme park and museum, located at the City of Arabia, Dubai, UAE. Working with world class designers, suppliers and industry specialists, the Natural History Museum provided the scientific research to assist the development of the exhibition experiences and were commissioned to oversee the provision of over 100 animatronic dinosaurs created by Kokoro Dreams. Although Dubai’s economic situation meant the project was unfortunately unable to progress, the animatronic models are currently on display at the City of Arabia as part of the development’s revised plans.
King Abdulaziz Centre
for World Culture,
Dhahran, Saudi Arabia
The NHM were contracted to provide content development services, organise and manage the design competition and market test exhibition concept ideas for the Centre’s natural history gallery. The gallery explores the beauty and diversity of life on the Arabian Peninsula and reflects on how the environment affects the people who live there. Using innovative audio-visual technology, the visitor experience reveals the history and traditions of the peninsula and also presents how people live today.
